Recovery Celebration ( 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM )

"Garden of Gratitude" is the theme of this first-time, community-wide event. Concerned citizens, area businesses, churches and agencies are taking a stand to overcome the scourge of substance abuse and the overdose death epidemic that plagues our community. The event will raise awareness of the possibilities that a unified effort will bring. The Titusville Recovery Celebration will be just that, a celebration, complete with free, fun, family-friendly activities, give-aways, refreshments, interesting and knowledgeable speakers, games and our own Titusville Chief of Police, Harold J. Minch in the dunking booth, and rumor has it he will be sporting his speedo!

Come to the TITUSVILLE RECOVERY CELEBRATION and find out how this issue affects EVERY member of our community and what YOU can do about it.

Scheide Park, Titusville, PA

FREE and open to the public!

All citizens, area businesses, churches and agencies are invited to participate in this community-wide event by providing an activity, demonstration or resource table. You may also make a donation in support of the Recovery Celebration event. All donations of $100 or more will earn a spot with your logo or name on a tote that will be freely distributed at the event.

Immediately following the Recovery Celebration event, there will be a RECOVERY CELEBRATION MARCH, sponsored by area churches to raise awareness and show support of the community efforts being made to overcome the drug overdose epidemic in our town. Marchers will gather at 5:30 pm at Scheide Park and proceed on a 1.5 mile walk through the streets of Titusville, making short (2-5 minute) stops along the route to hear encouraging messages from various community support station representatives: Police Dept., Fire Dept., a local church, Titusville Hospital & Main Street Elementary School. If you have questions about the Recovery March or to participate in the planning of it, please call Debbie Peterson at (814) 789-2056 (deb@ps104design.com).
